When granite was first used in the United States, gray granite was the most popular as it was, and still is, mined in Georgia. It is still used, with the most common colors being Bare Gray, Sierra White, and Moonlight Gray.

The granite photos show what you may find on the
market on any given day. Certain granites are almost always available
and some less so. Some will never be found again. Granite is a natural
resource, and therefore is limited by its natural supply! Names also
vary somewhat depending upon the quarry and vendor. Grantops sales
associates are familiar with names and can help you find the stone that
will work in your home. |
